MSES mapping is indicative only of the natural values and areas that are defined as MSES in the SPP. Where there is an inconsistency between MSES mapping and the data source, the data source prevails.</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt" /><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt" /><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt"><SPAN>This dataset is created by extracting and combining ‘marine national park’, ‘conservation park’, ‘scientific research’, ‘preservation’ and ‘buffer’ zones in the 'Great Barrier Reef coast zoning' and 'Moreton Bay zoning' datasets. </SPAN></SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt" /><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt" /><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">It is noted there is currently no spatial representation for the Great Sandy Marine Park, which is also a declared State marine park under the Marine Parks Act 2004 and therefore also MSES. This dataset will be updated with the Great Sandy Marine Park highly protected zones when spatial data becomes available.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
