The port areas provided have been "closed to" or "stopped at" a coastline that is used by MSQ for navigation (not legal) purposes. This coastline is mostly described in the legislation as the "approximate high water mark" (HWM). You may need to adjust the data at the point where it joins your version of an "approximate high water mark" dataset. The actual seaward limits as defined in legislation should not be changed. Be aware that some of the data may be quite small where they cross creeks etc.Any edges of mangrove included in the data is an approximate outer edge of the tree-line for navigation purposes only and does not represent the edge of a scientifically classified mangrove area. Any coast or wall data included in the data is a very approximate high water mark (HWM) for navigation purposes only and does not represent an engineering, legal or surveyed boundary. This data should not be used for modelling, surveying, engineering or legal purposes.
