 "description": "This service includes the most recent land use mapping for the Great Barrier\nReef\u2019s (GBR) Natural Resource Management (NRM) regions. The GBR land use\nmapping 2021 dataset includes Cape York, Wet Tropics, Burdekin, Mackay\nWhitsundays, Fitzroy, and Burnett Mary. The assignment of land use classes to\nthe GBR 2021 dataset was based on image interpretation of multi-temporal\nLandsat, Sentinel, Earth-i, and high spatial resolution SPOT (French:\nSatellite Pour l\u2019Observation de la Terre), Planet and Pléiades satellite\nimagery. Ancillary land use information and field observations were also used\nto map the 2021 dataset. Attribution of land use classes was based on a\nmodified Australian Land Use Management Classification (ALUMC) Schema, Version\n8 (October 2016).\n\nThis service also includes the baseline 1999 land use mapping dataset for\nQueensland. The 1999 baseline dataset was incrementally updated by NRM region\nfrom 2012 to 2017.\n\nThe Land use of Queensland is a product of the Australian Collaborative Land\nUse and Management Program (ACLUMP).
