This dataset was originally created as a part of the Agriculture Land Audit in 2013 to inform the public of agricultural processing facilities (abattoirs and egg processors). In this new iteration we have included production, transport, saleyards and cold storage facilities.

Saleyards from the Agri-Business Policy and Industry Development team within the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
1. Spatialise Accreditation Register (AR) from latitude and longitude fields
2. Remove horticulture, seafood, wild animal harvesting and field depot
3. Dissolve overlapping records
4. Append saleyard spatial layer
Data is extracted from SafeFood's Accreditation Register (AR), spatialised, cleaned and merged with saleyard dataset from DAF.
